Lewandowski’s style is all about killing two birds with one stone; taking advantage of the creatively vibrant aspects of the beauty industry, while overcoming the not-so-fabulous parts of the job. “My style is trendy and comfortable.” she says. “Comfort is key. When you’re on your feet all day, you have to consider comfort.”
Even when reaching for a familiar pair of comfy jeans, Lewandowski mixes things up with different pairs of bright colored jeans to give her style a trendy twist. “My go-to color is definitely blue. I get a lot of compliments because it brings out the color in my eyes.”
When the occasion calls for something a little more elegant than jeans, Lewandowski finds her way to Rehoboth Avenue and into Downtown Cowgirl (227-1917) or South Moon Under (southmoonunder.com). She can always count on finding great pieces to add a hint of glamour to her comfortable style. If in need of a little inspiration before a shopping trip, Lewandowski turns to her favorite style icon. “My sister, Lacey,” she says. “She lives in Manhattan and has such a great sense of style. I wish I could just steal her wardrobe.”
Hedging on her trendier side, Lewandowski’s must-have look this fall incorporates all kinds of black leather, to add a crisp, high fashion twist to her everyday appearance.
