And They’re Off!

Enjoy a night of virtual horse racing, food, martinis and fun when the Bernard and Ruth Siegel Jewish Community Center in Wilmington hosts its fourth annual Night at the Races on November 20. Pick your favorite horse. Place your bets. Then watch the action on a big screen in the JCC clubhouse while a live announcer calls the race. “There’s lots of screaming and yelling,” says event co-creator Annette Aerenson. Proceeds benefit the JCC, which provides everything from high-quality early childhood education, after-school programs and summer camps for children, to hot lunches, fitness and educational programs for seniors, as well as health and wellness programs for people of all ages. For more, call 478-5660, or email wendiweingartner@siegeljcc.org.
