Odessa, along Appoqinimink Creek, Drawyer’s Creek and the Delaware River, is a mix of the old and the new. There are still examples of 18th- and 19th-century architecture in places such as the Corbett-Sharp House, and visitors enjoy the celebrated Historic Houses of Odessa, but new neighborhoods such as Appoquin Farms, many build on old farms that bordered beautiful marshes, offers affordably priced homes, and many properties back up to golf courses. Odessa is served by the highly rated Appoquinimink School District.
