Delmar straddles Mason and Dixon’s famous Transpeninsular line in southernmost, westernmost Sussex (the corner is delineated by an original survey marker in a field just outside town), which is why residents from both Delaware and Maryland call it home. Delmar boasts six public parks, and offers convenient shopping opportunites on U.S. 13. Delmar is also home to the U.S. 13 International Speedway, a drag and stock car racing track that is famous across Delmarva.
