Camp New Hope
Part of Delaware Hospice’s youth bereavement program, this four-day camp is designed to help children and teens cope with the loss of a loved one. The camp offers group projects, individual support and counseling. Participants share memories, learn that they’re not alone, and that it’s OK to have fun again. Deadline for registration is 30 days prior to the start of each camp, and there is no fee. Camps are held at: Lums Pond State Park (June 18-21), Trap Pond State Park (July 16-19), Killens Pond State Park (Aug. 6-9).
