An agricultural oasis surrounded by suburbia, the farm has been in one family’s hands since 1832. It’s known for its peaches and other stone fruit, apples, vegetables and unique offerings, such as zucchini flowers, micro-greens and honey from the hives on the farm.
CSA: Available all year, Highland’s CSA has a rolling enrollment and a high-tech customer-service system. Visit the Web site, choose your size (large or small), choose the frequency and whether you want it weekly or biweekly. Add on eggs, baked goods and cheese as needed.
Don’t miss: Say hi to the pig, the goose, the miniature horses and the peacocks.
