The Delaware Center for Horticulture hosts a City Gardens Contest and People’s Choice Award on June 16-17. View flower gardens, water features, potted gardens, vegetable patches and outdoor artwork in most neighborhoods of Wilmington. Find inspiration and ideas, then vote online for your favorites. It’s part of the annual Discover The DCH Month in June, which includes two other major garden tours, social events, workshops and classes, and family fun. (658-6262, thedch.org)
