The Music School of Delaware celebrates its 85th anniversary with a concert at The Grand June 3. This is no ordinary show, but then again, the music school is the only statewide, accredited community music school in the country. Performers, ranging in age from 6 to 90, will represent the school’s Suzuki Academy as well as its choral and orchestral programs, including the Wilmington Youth Chorale, Delaware Children’s Chorus, Select Choral Ensemble, Delaware Youth Orchestra, Delaware Youth Symphony, Wilmington Community Orchestra and Delaware Women’s Chorus. The evening also will feature informal performances in the Baby Grand.
