Get Deep at the Natural History Museum
You won’t be under the sea at the Delaware Museum of Natural History, but you can hang in an octopus’ garden in the shade. The new exhibit, “Deep Sea Treasures,” which runs June 6 through October 4, “incorporates components that will engage the whole family,” says executive director Halsey Spruance. “Adults can learn about ongoing field research, older children can experience ocean exploration with hands-on activities, and toddlers can role play with plush sea creatures.” Call 658-9111, or visit delmnh.org.
