A ministry of Glasgow Church, the academy exists to support Christian families in equipping their children to successfully move into college or career after graduation through emphasis on spiritual, academic, character, social and physical development.
AT RLCA, teachers are Christian role-model mentors that aim to fuse the message of Christ into every aspect of the daily learning experience, according to the school’s Web site. The curriculum includes AP, honors, accelerated classes and enrichment studies.
Extracurriculars include sports, performing arts, ministry and missions, and service learning, and academic teams like Math League and Science Olympiad.
The school is biblically based, non-denominational, and accepts students from families in which at least one parent is a professing Christian who regularly attends church.
