Who says a steak dinner will pummel your budget? Not the diners at this Little Italy icon, where there’s a deal just about every day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, for instance, try the $29.95 four-choice menu. Choose one item from selections in four categories: soup or salad, entrée, side and dessert. Purists may go for the iceberg wedge, 11-ounce strip, baked potato and Key Lime pie. There’s always a fish selection.
Other specials—which evolve seasonally— may include a free seafood bar item with an entrée or two steak sandwiches for $11—complete with steak house fries. And if you like what you taste, join the House of Beef Frequent Diner Club, which gives you access to promotional offers and members-only events.
WHET YOUR WHISTLE AND YOUR APPETITE
Not to be outdone, the bar also bellies up to the bargains, with specials Monday through Friday. On Wednesdays, snag a “roste beaf samich” with a drink order.
