1,000-Point Wine Tasting Brings You the Nearly Unobtainable

Many of us have experienced 80- to 90-plus point wines. Some have sampled the rare 100-point wine. But few of us have savored ten 100-point wines in the same place at the same time. That’s a 1,000-Point Wine Tasting, and it’s never been done in Delaware—’til now.

Wine Spectator gave a perfect 100 to four of these wines while Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gave 100 points to five of these wines. The tenth wine received 100 Points from Gambero Rosso, the influential Italian gourmet publication similar to Wine Spectator.

On the Saturday afternoon, Charles Curtis, Head of Wine for Christie’s Asia, will conduct the first 1,000-Point Wine Tasting in Delaware. It will be great fun to watch as one of the world’s leading experts guides us through a real-time discovery of some of the world’s finest wines, creating his tasting notes in your presence.

But the real fun begins when you try the same thing yourself. These are 100-point wines. You will sample every one. No spitting, please!
