No disrespect to the baseball hat-wearing throngs that haunt much of Trolley Square, but Toscana Kitchen + Bar, with its quiet lighting and sophisticated wine program, might not be the place for you. We're like Trolley Square's bar for grownups, says owner Dan Butler, who just installed TVs at the bar.

Details: Hand-rolled pastas and desserts are excellent and the wines are well chosen. But carb out on the breadsticks: No one does them better. Chef Dan Butlera[euro](TM)s signature dishes are tortellini and raviolia[euro] which are more sublimely toothsome than you would ever expect. The capellini with tomato and roasted garlic has never left the menu, despite its many iterations. Northern Italian, trendy bar. Upscale casual dining. Reservations suggested. Lunch and dinner.
