Berger Harris enjoys a unique niche in the Delaware legal market -- a local law firm with big firm experience and capabilities. Founded by Jack Harris and Benjamin “Buddy” Berger, Berger Harris opened its doors in late 2009.
Jack Harris has extensive experience counseling and litigating on behalf of clients in complex, business litigation matters in federal and state court, and in particular, the Delaware Court of Chancery. Jack regularly handles “business divorces” or matters involving private, closely-held business entities.
Buddy Berger’s commercial real estate practice includes “front end” acquisitions, financing and leasing transactions, and “back end” work-out and restructuring transactions for commercial office and retail projects. Buddy represents local and regional developers, investors and business owners.
Brian Gottesman is a partner experienced in counseling corporations and closely-held alternative entities, including limited liability companies, Delaware statutory trusts and limited partnerships, on issues relating to governance and management. Brian recently became a member of the Delaware State Bar’s Alternative Entities Subcommittee.
David Anthony is an associate who focuses his practice in areas of corporate litigation and employment law. The firm is supported by an experienced staff dedicated to providing quality service to clients, both locally and nationally.
