Joyce Keeney, CEO and head designer of Interior Concepts of Hockessin, found her passion for interior design and architecture while touring the historic cities of Europe as a young woman. During her extensive travel of 10 foreign countries, she was inspired by the culture, art, and architectural genius of times past. Joyce was formally trained in interior design at the University of Delaware and the Delaware College of Art and Design. Since 1983, Joyce’s portfolio includes preconstruction planning, complete residential interior design services, and model home merchandising.
Joyce’s stylish and sophisticated fine-furnishings store in Hockessin has been awarded “Best Home Furnishings” and “Best Art” by Delaware Today magazine. She prides herself on supporting American-made product by carrying furniture lines made in the United States.
