Welcome to our Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Practice

We are a group of three pediatricians, an experienced nurse practitioner, several skilled nurses and cheerful administrative staff. Each physician is Board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. We are all Fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics and adhere to their principles regarding infant, child and adolescent care.

Our History:

Dr. Marilyn Kay Lynam took over for Dr. Geraldine McCusick’s pediatric practice on West 11th street in Wilmington in July of 1974. A year later she moved the practice to Limestone Road in the Pike Creek area. Dr. Cynthia Gabrielli joined the practice in 1981. Four years later they moved their expanding practice just a mile away to its current location at 5500 Skyline Drive in the Pike Creek Professional Center. In 1989, Dr. Judith Feick joined the practice.

Our Philosophy:

Our Philosophy is to provide quality medical care to infants, children and adolescents; and to help each family enable their children to reach their fullest potential. We will care for your children by visiting them in the hospital when they are newborns, by providing anticipatory guidance for well infants, children and adolescents and by administering immunizations at the appropriate times. We see sick children in the office when needed seven days a week, and will follow them in the hospital if necessary. We have evening and early morning appointments. If a child needs further specialized care, we will refer them to a pediatric specialist.

Our Doctors:

Dr. Kay graduated from the University of Delaware and the Medical College of Virginia School of Medicine. She lives in Wilmington with her husband Alan. They have two children Jennifer and Christopher. She has been in practice since 1974. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Cindy graduated from Immaculata University and The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She lives in Hockessin with her husband, Karl. They have two children Erik and Lauren. She has been in practice since 1981. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Dr. Judy graduated from Bucknell University and the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She lives in Newark with her husband Dave and two children, John and Megan. She has been in practice since 1989. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Susan Scofield, A.P.N., R.N. is a registered Pediatric Nurse Practioner with an advanced degree and additional training in treating pediatric conditions. She sees both sick and well children and provides anticipatory guidance and treatment for routine check-ups and problems.
