Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health, LLC is an outpatient group behavioral health practice. It is comprised of a diverse group of professional licensed psychiatrists, psychologists, neuropsychologists and therapists who use a comprehensive array of proven outpatient therapy, testing and medication management services.
Since its inception in 2007, Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health has been continually expanding its professional staff to over 20, offering traditional as well as specialty outpatient services. New specialty services offered include neuropsychological testing provided by Dr. Julie Keaveney and expanded medication management services with the addition of advance practice nurses and the full time services of Dr. Kimberly Valentine.
Dr. Kim Valentine brings to Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health and to her patients a varied and extensive background in the field of general psychiatry. She is board certified and licensed to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania. Dr. Valentine is a graduate of Villanova University, Howard University School of Medicine, and Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She completed residency programs at the Reading Hospital and Medical Center and at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, and completed her psychiatric residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Valentine has spent over a decade helping individuals become whole and functional in their daily lives. She is board certified in general psychiatry, and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Psychiatric Society of Delaware. Dr. Valentine’s goal is to continue to provide excellent psychiatric care to her patients. She looks forward to joining the team of Mid-Atlantic Behavioral Health on a full-time basis in mid-October.

Dr. Kimberly Valentine is a board certified physician in general psychiatry. She received her medical doctor degree from Hahnemann/Drexel University in Philadelphia. She trained in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to pursuing a career in psychiatry, she studied family practice and internal medicine.
Dr. Keaveney holds a Diplomat in Clinical Neuropsychology from the American Board of Professional Psychology. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults across the lifespan with a variety of neurological conditions including but not limited to; brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, movement disorders, tumor, multiple sclerosis, autoimmune disorders, dementia, learning disabilities, attention-deficit disorders, and psychiatric disorders. Dr. Keaveney provides a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment designed to identify the individual’s strengths and weaknesses.
