After 27 years of dental practice in Baltimore, Dr. Jeffrey Cooper opened a new practice in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, in 2007. “The need for dentists and certainly other medical practitioners was well documented for Sussex County,” says Dr. Cooper. “The appeal of this area was an additional incentive to make such a life change.”
It is evident immediately that Dr. Cooper and his staff want your experience of going to the dentist to be different than what we all remember. That is demonstrated upon entrance into the waiting room which is warm and inviting, more like home than a dental office. “Our office design was specifically intended to make people feel at home, to eliminate some of the perceptions people have about coming to the dentist,” says Dr. Cooper.
The goal of the practice is to make people comfortable by helping them to understand their treatment. Patients can listen to music while receiving dental care or watch TV using headphones. Whether it’s gum disease, TMJ, cosmetic veneers, implants, crowns, or dentures, Dr. Cooper and staff are prepared to have you smiling after finishing with your care. Getting your life back with confidence is their goal.
A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in 1980, Dr. Cooper completed a dental residency at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore before entering into private practice. He has actively pursued numerous educational programs throughout his career, including training at the Pankey Institute in Florida. Dr. Cooper has lectured nationally on dental implants.
Dedicated to creating a unique patient experience, the mission of Dr. Cooper and his staff focuses on creating an opportunity for patients to feel good about themselves through warm hospitality and careful listening. The priority is to always honor the best interests of each patient.
