Delaware Spine Institute specializes in Minimally Invasive Spine Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The practice diagnoses and treats pain disorders of the adult spine through specialized injection procedures and electrodiagnostics. These procedures are performed at the Delaware Spine Institute or The Dover Surgicenter.
Dr. Ronald M. Lieberman began his career in 1988 with an internship at Metropolitan Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., then a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University Hospital. In the early 1990s he started his Fellowship in Interventional Spine Pain Management. He is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Management. Now, as the medical director of the Delaware Spine Institute, he has been serving the Dover area since 2005.
Dr. Lieberman serves on the teaching faculty of the North American Spine Society and International Spine Intervention Society. He teaches other physicians and surgeons on an international and national level and has been chosen to be an expert in many research programs on techniques and outcomes for different procedures.
Dr. Lieberman says, “I am truly looking forward to departing from traditional pain management protocols and embarking on a level of care not previously available to the community.”
