At Yoga U, students can choose between several styles of yoga. There are classes in muscle-based yoga, which helps improve posture, flexibility and overall fitness. But yogis-in-training can also try yin yoga, which focuses on stretching the ligaments. Over time, students report less joint pain and more flexibility. Yin-based training is designed to complement your regular fitness routine, and Yoga U is the only school in the area that offers it. The third style of class, yoga abs, focuses on strengthening core muscles through 45-minute sessions. All other classes last 75 to 90 minutes per session. Walk-in students pay $8 to $12, depending on the class. A package of 10 classes costs $105.
