statewide, DE Generally, the YMCA offers two Pilates classes: Pilates Mat Basics and Pure Pilates. Pilates Mat Basics offers strengthening and stretching, aiming at the body's powerhouse: abdomen, hips, lower back and buttocks. Pilates is meant to strengthen muscles, promote flexibility and balance, and unite body and mind. Pure Pilates is a more advanced class for members who have a basic grasp of simple Pilates moves. The YMCA also offers an entry-level mat exercise Pilates class. Participants must bring their own equipment. Classes are open to all members. Additional Information
