The Tatnall School, founded in 1930, is an independent, coeducational day school dedicated to providing students from age 3 through Grade 12 with an excellent college preparatory education within a family atmosphere. Our motto, Omnia in Caritate (All Things in Caring), aptly describes our teachers, coaches, parent volunteers, administration and staff. We are committed to maintaining a welcoming learning environment in which each student feels supported, challenged and recognized.
Tatnall’s Mission Statement makes our goal clear: “A Tatnall graduate is prepared to succeed as a college or university student and to assume the important role of a responsible member of society in all its diversity.” At Tatnall, students are encouraged to nurture their intellectual curiosity, explore their talents and serve their communities. We seek to develop the mind, body and spirit through a balanced program of rigorous academics, athletics and the arts, as well as community service.
Located on a beautiful, safe and quiet campus of 110-acres in Greenville, Tatnall provides state-of-the-art resources including the latest classroom technologies. More important, however, is the close relationship between teachers and students that have become the hallmark of the Tatnall experience—one which many of our 2,700 living alumni say they value most. It is the primary reason Tatnall is often referred to as “the family school.”
We invite you to experience Tatnall for yourself. Attend one of our open houses or call our Admissions Office at 302-892-4285 to arrange a personalized tour. Also, visit our web site at www.tatnall.org for more information.
