Real baked eggplant Parmigiana is hard to find these days, but it's always served at Lamberti's Cucina. Though the restaurant specializes in homemade pasta, chicken, veal, seafood and fresh fish, the sausage and peppers is especially good. The paglia Afie eno is prepared with whole-wheat spinach fettuccine. Casual. Reservations suggested. Lunch and dinner.

Soft colors create a mellow vibe where you can enjoy home-cooked food that will warm you through and through. There are no surprises, just the classics: grilled chicken and veal, Marsalas and saltimboccas and Parmigianas, lots of shellfish in zesty sauces over pastas, and wood-fired pizzas.
