Tropical Delight Cafe & Affordable Catering is offering soulful Caribbean cuisine at its new Dover location. After opening in Smyrna in May 2013, the restaurant moved to the state capital in July. Owners Tipi Brookins, Dave Goldstar, Gloria “Mom G” Brown and Sunny Brown are serious about creating authentic, flavorful entrées. Mom G and Jamaican assistant chef Wayne Hines cook favorites like jerk chicken and homemade macaroni and cheese. “Everybody knows Mom G,” Brookins says. The cafe also provides budget-friendly catering services for special occasions. “Our food is made with love,” Brookins says. “We’re not just a restaurant—it’s a family feel.” 1156 S. Bay Road, Dover, 736-3663
