Greek Festival Kicks Off at Holy Trinity

Make room for moussaka, dolmades, spanakopita and baklava.

Music, dancing and fellowship may be important to the annual Greek Festival at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, but we’re foodies, so the most important thing is food, of course. We live for an annual indulgence of homemade pastichio, moussaka, dolmades, spanakopita and baklava, which are prepared around the clock in Trinity’s Hellenic Community Center. On the festival grounds outside, find gyros, souvlaki and more. In a hurry at lunch, but craving great fare? Find an order form at Trinity’s website, download, fill out, fax back, then pull up on south side of the church on Broom Street to pick up your order. The fun happens June 3-7, 11 a.m. till 11 p.m. We’ll see you there. holytrinitywilmington.org
