With a water park, pond, woods and fields, Killens Pond State Park will entice even the most indoor-oriented kids to spend the day outdoors. All levels of swimmers (ages 6-9) are welcome at Splish Splash for paddle boating, fishing and swimming (with lessons from Killens Pond lifeguards). Older kids (8-12) can kayak, canoe and paddleboat. Adventurers ages 9 to 13 can go rock climbing at Alapocas Run and visit Fort Miles and the Cape Henlopen State Park in the Extreme Outdoors camp.
