At Vita Nova, in UD’s Trabant Student Center, the student staff is working hard to be a success in the restaurant industry, so you’d better believe they get it right. Serve from the right, clear from the left. And they know the menu better than many servers at traditional restaurants.

Sure, you may have had a Caesar salad made for you tableside once or twice, but there’s no equaling the tableside service at the University of Delaware’s Vita Nova. Training ground for UD’s Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management students, the full-service restaurant is housed inside the Trabant Student Center in the heart of campus. Student servers will whip together Caesar salad tableside. They’ll also present your organic chicken roulade with French style service (plated via a tableside cart). Beef filet is served in the Russian style.
