The Knockout, the Strawberry Blonde, the Blueberry Lemon Drop: martinis with flair. The traditional cocktails at Sullivan’s are nice, too, like the Perfect Manhattan and the Ultimate Gimlet. But you’re really digging the CEO Martini: chilled gin and Vermouth, shaken, then poured over as many briny olives as you’d like.
No place received more love from the celebrity critics than Sullivan’s Steakhouse. The boutique chain’s Concord Pike location has done certified Angus beef to perfection for years, and it’s brought a touch of class to the strip mall-saturated area. Harold and Linda Gray, Derrick and Trish Gunn, Michelle Rollins, Marsha Borin and Ciro Poppiti all rated Sullivan’s their favorite. “I can’t get a better steak anywhere,” Rollins says. “The cowboy bone-in ribeye, the stone crabs—they just do a great job.”
