Looking for a unique cocktail for your reception?

Sugarfoot Fine Food and Gourmet Catering in Wilmington presents the Fresh Ginger Root Martini. Shaken, not stirred, it’s a combo of vodka and ginger root garnished with a slice of pear. “The spiciness of the ginger really brings out a fresh taste,” says Sugarfoot’s Erica Sontowski. • Café Azafran in Lewes features Caramel Apple Cider. The sweet and tangy pairing is sure to set the mood, and blending in a shot of rum or brandy adds spirit. “With whipped cream on top, it tastes just like hot apple pie,” says manager Kelly Sharp. • Harry’s Savoy Grill and Ballroom in Wilmington features the Black Rock, a quaff of vodka and muddled blackberries garnished with, of course, a fresh blackberry. “It’s a little bit different,” says special events director Lou Marrocco. “The flavor of the blackberry makes for a very refreshing martini.” —Jennifer Hayes
