With a father who was a barber and a mother who was a cosmetologist, it seems fated that Dee Anderson would have followed into the hair and beauty industry. But when her brother was diagnosed with alopecia areata, a condition that causes total hair loss over the entire body, Anderson founded Delaware Hair Solutions in Newark in 2004 to provide hair replacement for people with hair loss. Her work has earned several industry awards and led her to open a location in Millsboro in January.
