The program features both modern and traditional repertoire for winds, including Paul Hindemith's masterful March from Symphonic Metamorphosis and David Gillingham's touching work And Can it Be? The concert's centerpiece is Kimberly Archer's eclectic Symphony No. 2, which integrates humor, minimalism and hymnsongs within a traditional compositional context that audiences will find accessible and enjoyable.
