One lunch break is all it will take to celebrate Earth Day in Rodney Square on April 22, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Visitors will be welcomed with giveaways while supplies last; free native plants and tree seedlings; exciting, free raffle items; and fun kids activities. They can also look over hybrid, or fuel-efficient automobiles and visit about 40 vendors offering green products, services, and advice. Those who bring their lunch can even take part in Picnic for Earth, a celebration of sustainable food brought to you by The Nature Conservancy’s Delaware chapter. Discover more about this rain-or-shine festival at DelawareEstuary.org, or call (800) 445-4935, extension 106.
