Join us for an exclusive tour, led by Karen Travers, of one of the finest naturalistic wildflower gardens in the east. Just a short half-hour drive from Kennett Square is the Mt. Cuba Center, the country estate of the late Pamela and Lamont DuPont Copeland. The relaxed-paced tour takes us through this showcase of diversity and beauty in woodland, pond, stream, meadow, and formal garden settings. Blooming native wildflowers include wild ginger, rue anemone, Jacob's ladder, and many species of trillium and orchids. Find out which plants work best for our area. This is the ideal opportunity to get practical advice for your own native plant garden, whether you are just thinking on starting one or already incorporate these gems into your landscape. Light refreshments provided. Wear walking shoes and dress for the weather. Trip goes rain or shine. Registration deadline: April 13th, 2013. For questions or registration assistance, call 610-347-0347 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
