Tiger Lily Music is a celebration of works by underrepresented composers, including women, Latinos and African Americans, performed by Department of Music faculty and friends.
The program includes Danza de la Mariposa for solo flute by Valerie Coleman; Danse d’Avila by Ida Presti;
Three pieces by Swift/Rose: 1) In the End We All Just Dance It Out, 2) I don’t want to break my own heart being sad when I know I can find a way to fix it and 3) Sarabande to Stop the Violence;
Three Browning Songs by Amy Beach; and
Suite Buenos Aires for flute and guitar by Maximo Diego Pujol.
Tickets are $15 adults; $10 UD faculty/staff/alumni & seniors; $5 students. Tickets are available at the door. Cash or check only.
