On our Summer Festival stage, outdoors and under the stars, Delaware Shakespeare presents THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, Shakespeare’s ridiculously bold comedy of wooing and trickery, July 12-28.
Barrymore Award-winner Krista Apple, our Beatrice in last summer’s MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, directs this raucous production with all-original music by Michael Hahn.
~ WEDNESDAYS THROUGH SATURDAYS: Gates open at 6:15pm and shows begin at 7:30pm.
~ SUNDAYS: Gates open at 4:45pm and the show starts at 6pm. Sunday nights are Family Nights! Kids 12 and under are free with paid adult admission, with additional children’s activities.
~ EVERY NIGHT: Pre-show entertainment and visits from our Wandering Bards. You bring your own blankets or chairs. Pack a picnic or buy provisions on site, with snacks and sandwiches from Janssen's Market, bottles of wine from Swigg at concessions and more TBA.
A limited number of reserved Saved Seats are available each night. Tickets for Saved Seats must be purchased in advance.
Join us for the Bard's larger-than-life comic creation Falstaff and “we shall drink down all unkindness!” in this, our 17th summer of Shakespeare.
