The Resident Ensemble Players, Delaware’s professional acting company performing at the University of Delaware, presents The Elephant Man by Bernard Pomerance. The moving tale of John Merrick, a passionate, artistic soul trapped in a body hideously disfigured by a horrifying rare disease. Named the “Elephant Man” in a touring freak show, he is rescued by a renowned surgeon and becomes the unlikely toast of London society.  A poignant look at disability, intolerance, and the gift of kindness, this Tony award winning play retains its power to shake us to our depths.

$15 - $30
