“Talk and Trek” at White Clay Creek State Park

Description

Join Delaware Humanities for a “talk and trek”.  As we hike the Bryan’s Field Trail, we will stop at certain points to discuss short pieces of literature connected to the local environment.  Appropriate for ages 14 and older.  Space is limited and pre-registration required, call 302-368-6900 by Thursday October 11 at 4 PM.

The Bryan’s Field loop trail crosses through meadows and hardwood forests.  The trail passes the “Post Marked West” monument, which marks the beginning of the Mason-Dixon.  This 1.4 mile trail has paved, dirt, and gravel sections.  Easy to moderate difficulty.

Park at the Possum Hill Parking area, at the corner of Smith Mill Road and Paper Mill Road.  Delaware State Park fees apply ($4 Delaware residents, $8 out of state residents).
