| Description |
The REBEL Baroque Ensemble is one of today’s premiere period-instrument groups. On two violins, recorder/traverso, violoncello, and harpsichord, the group takes a highly expressive, provocative approach to its repertoire, eliciting critical raves: “Sophisticated and Beguiling” (The New York Times); “Astonishingly vital music-making” (The Los Angeles Times); “Virtuosity and Joy” (The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette). For their Coastal Concerts performance, the players will present selections by Vivaldi, Corelli, Telemann, Boyce and other 17th and 18th century composers. |
