On Location Photography Workshops

This event occurs monthly, on the second Sunday of May and June.


Inspired by the exhibition Eye on Nature, students will meet at scenic sites to shoot on location. Students will learn about John Ruskin’s philosophy of nature and have the opportunity for group discussion and critique at the follow-up session in the Museum’s Studios. Instructor: Danny Schweers. Students are responsible for paying admission fees at each location.

Longwood Gardens: Sunday, April 29
Museum meet up: May 6 | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Hagley Museum and Library: Sunday, May 13
Museum meet up: May 20 | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge: Sunday, June 10
Museum meet up: June 17 | 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
