| Description |
Misha Dichter, one of the world’s most revered pianists, will perform pieces by Beethoven, Scriabin, and Schubert. In 1966 Mr. Dichter gained overnight fame when he won the Silver Medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition while only 20 years old. That early achievement launched him on an illustrious lifetime career of virtuoso performing and award-winning recording. Known as “the pianist’s pianist,” Mr. Dichter also is an artist away from the keyboard, having recently published a collection of drawings that chronicle an artist's caricatured lifestyle from the stage and behind the curtain. |
