Pyxis Piano Quartet performs chamber music that includes works from the sonata, duo, and trio repertoire as well as traditional and contemporary masterpieces for piano quartet. Compelling, engaging, and informative, Pyxis' performances have become some of the most sought-after concerts in the Delaware area arts scene. Playing together, members Meredith Amado (violin), Amy Leonard (viola), Jie Jin (cello), and Hiroko Yamazaki (piano) have wowed audiences all along the East Coast. In residence at the Delaware Art Museum, we are delighted to present them in a Festival Concert to take advantage of the outstanding acoustic for chamber music at First & Central Church.
