Nanticoke Health Services, the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce and the City of Seaford are hosting LIVE FOR CHOCOLATE on Friday, May 2, 2014 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM in Downtown Seaford. This planning committee for this year’s event is working hard to bring a night of fun to downtown Seaford.
Previously known as Nanticoke’s Girls’ Night Out, this year’s event includes a scavenger hunt from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with door prizes being drawn at 8:00 pm at City Hall. At each vendor stop, enjoy a chocolate treat, pick up your puzzle clue and have your puzzle card stamped to be eligible for one of more than 35 prizes. All entries must be in the box at City Hall by 8:00 pm. Included in the night are food, wine tasting, music, shopping, games and women’s breast health information and awareness.
Sweet Serenity Chocolates will also be hosting a chocolate fountain in City Hall. Wine tasting will be provided by Liquid Assets located at Your Sister’s Closet. For the gentlemen who come with their wives or significant others, Dick’s Barber Shop will be hosting The Man Cave from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. There will also be music and other special treats at locations like Procino Wells & Woodland LLC, Travel Debi, Gallery 107 and the Day Spa at the Marina in Blades. The Drive to Inspire truck sponsored by Preston Auto Group, Boulevard Ford, and Comcast Spotlight will be at the Seaford Historical Museum. The Duck will be providing a live radio remote and the popular Cake Walk game returns next to City Hall.
“With so many great activities planned in Seaford and Bridgeville for the weekend of May 2 through May 4, I hope people will visit us downtown and then stay for the weekend,” said Lynn Brocato, Executive Director for the Greater Seaford Chamber of Commerce. “Comfort Suites is offering a special weekend rate for those staying for the weekend. Call the local hotel directly and mention code May2.”
