This event occurs daily, every 1 day(s).
The Stitch in Time Quilt Guild, a group of African American women living in the Dover area, will present a show of their story quilts in honor of Black History Month.
Their quilts focus on historical events and people in Delaware and American history. Many tell stories of the Underground Railroad and incorporate the "secret quilt codes" of the time.
Bring your friends and family to meet the artists at the reception on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 2:00 pm. The reception is free and open to the public.
These wonderful quilts will be on display through March 22, 2013 in the Siegel JCC ArtSpace.
Free and open to the public.
