Greenbank Paints: A Plein Air Event

Celebrate a weekend of local artwork and historic landmarks with Greenbank Mills and Philips Farm. On Friday, October 12th from 7:30-9:30 pm, revel in the change of seasons and brisk autumn nights with a evening of spectacular art, local libations, and delicious delicacies. The evening will feature local art created onsite the week leading up to the event, as well as early access to a special silent auction being offered throughout the course of the weekend.

Admission to the special preview party and moonlit dedication of local artists is $20 per person. Your admission to the evening exhibition can also be used towards the purchase of a painting of your choice as well as complimentary entry into our additional Plein Air celebration on Saturday, October 13th.

On Saturday, October 13th, join us again for a special open day featuring art and history. Starting at 10 am, Greenbank Mills and Philips Farm will be open to the public to tour their historic buildings. From 12 - 2 pm, kids can flex their creative muscles with plein air painting on site for a $5 supplies fee. From 2 - 4 pm, guests can again view the plein air exhibit and a final drawing for the silent auction will occur. Admission to the exhibit on Saturday is $7.50 per person.

Greenbank Mills & Phillips Farm is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the Greenbank Mill National Historic District through educational programming and community partnerships. The organization maintains several historic buildings including a 19th century gristmill and textile mill and an 18th century farmhouse.
