About The Delaware Ballet

Delaware Ballet is committed to spreading the love of ballet throughout Delaware. In efforts to fulfill this mission, they have an outreach program that allows those who are underserved or disadvantaged an opportunity to experience the art of dance. Every year they visit a number of schools & nursing homes to perform for groups who may not be able to attend performance. It is very important to the members of Delaware Ballet to be involved in community outreach and be “Ambassadors of the Arts!”

About The Diamond Dance Company:

Diamond Dance Company (DDC) is a non-profit ballet company dedicated to promoting the arts in public education through community outreach and providing Delaware students the opportunity to see full length ballet productions. DDC is comprised of ballet students throughout Kent and Sussex Counties and offering their members the opportunity to provide service to the community is something they are very proud of.

In its 16th season, the DDC has enabled thousands of school children to share in the magic of the seasonal favorite, “The Nutcracker”, “Wizard of Oz” and an all new original ballet, “The Tale of The Mermaid”. DDC has been fortunate to be able to provide entertainment for many organizations within the community including State Street Assisted Living, Meals on Wheels, The Milford Senior Center, The Boys & Girls Club, Delaware Relay for Life, Bayhealth Hospital, Old Dover Days & The Milford Farmer’s Market.
