Description

Need a flu shot, but not sure when to fit it in? The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH), Bayhealth Medical Center, and the Delaware Medical Reserve Corps will host a free drive-thru flu clinic for ages 9 and older at the DelDOT Administration Building, 800 Bay Road in Dover, on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Rain or shine.

Pedestrians are also welcome, and accommodations will be available for those with access and functional needs. Interpreters in American Sign Language, Spanish, and Haitian Creole will be on site.

Eagle 97.7 will hold a live broadcast from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Cool 101.3 will hold a live broadcast from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Flu vaccination reduces the risk of getting sick from the flu or spreading the disease to others. DPH urges all Delawareans 6 months of age and older who have not yet been vaccinated against the flu to get a vaccination as soon as possible. The flu is easy to transmit and the vaccine is the best protection.
