| Description |
The Monthly Children's Bird Walks at Bucktoe Creek Preserve are designed to introduce children ages 3 to 12 to birding by gentle instruction from an expert birder. We will be looking and listening for bird species that are commonly found at Bucktoe, as well as identifying uncommon species. The short walks cover fields, thickets, wetlands, and woodlands in order for the participant to become familiar with the connection between bird species and habitat. Come out and discover a hidden interest or strengthen an existing passion for bird watching! Walk led by Delaware Nature Society staff. Light, healthy snack provided. Please register though the Delaware Nature Society at (302) 239-2334 |
