Since 1987, The Festival of Trees has been the signature annual fundraising event for Delaware Hospice to support its programs and services. Each year, three Festival of Trees events are held throughout the state of Delaware, one in each county. The Kent County festival is being held A spectacular exhibit of decorated trees and wreaths made possible by our generous sponsors and creative decorators. In addition to the exquisitely and imaginatively decorated trees and wreaths, we offer: Raffle Tree: 6 1/2 ft. beautifully decorated tree with a variety of local gift certificates. Raffle tickets: $4.00 each or 3 for $10.00. Remembrance Tree: This tree is dedicated to celebrating the life of a loved one. Patrons who make a donation receive an ornament which may include a personal message and is displayed on the Remembrance Tree for the duration of the Festival. At the conclusion of the Festival, the ornament may be picked up at the Delaware Hospice office. Memorial Tree: The Memorial Tree is decorated in memory of Delaware Hospice patients who were served during the past year. New Hope Tree: Our New Hope Tree is dedicated to the children and teens of our Delaware Hospice families who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Nights of Lights Reception: Celebrate the season among the beautifully decorated trees on Tuesday, November 20th, starting at 6:30 p.m. Delaware Hospice, established in 1982, is the largest, most experienced and only nonprofit hospice in Delaware. Over the last 30 years, more than 41,000 patients and their families have chosen Delaware Hospice for their exceptional care. |
