As part of the fundraising initiative for the Philadelphia Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure Tickled Pink® event, the organization’s Teens for the Cure® Leadership is hosting “Closet Full of Cures” – the second in a series of events at which teens and moms in the community can purchase party/prom dresses to support the fight against breast cancer. The dresses for pre-teens, teens and women have been donated by Claire’s Fashions Inc. of Wilmington and Tony Bowls for Mon Cheri. At least 300 dresses will be on sale at the event at Claire’s Fashion, and include last-season’s fashions, with 100% of sales being donated to the Komen Philadelphia Affiliate, as well as current fashions, with a portion of sales donated to the cause. |
