Sat., March 30: Animal Careers Conference (Ages 14-22), 9:30am – 3pm.

Learn about the possibilities of careers with animals.

This is a one-day conference hosted at Brandywine Zoo and aimed at people aged 14-22 who are interested in pursuing an animal-based career, be that wildlife field work, veterinary, rehabilitation, or as zoo professionals that works in animal care, training or welfare. This conference will be most useful to students who know they would like to work with animals, but are not sure what direction to go in. There are many diverse and varied animal careers and this event will aim to give you an overview of some of them. Participants should bring their own packed lunch, or may purchase at the Concessions Stand.  Deadline for registration is March 27.

Conference Includes:
• Different speakers from across Brandywine Zoo, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, and other wildlife organizations
• Snack and refreshments
• Networking opportunities with the speakers
• More information at stands about volunteering and gaining experience
